2026-04-02: LIMITATION: AI search tools require a separate LLM provider API key. Seer unavailable on self-hosted Sentry. stdio transport still work-in-progress.
Things to check
- Remote OAuth mode at mcp.sentry.dev is the primary supported path; stdio is a work in progress aimed at self-hosted Sentry and needs a user auth token with specific scopes. AI-powered search tools require an LLM provider key and are unavailable without one. Some features (like Seer) may not exist on self-hosted instances — disable unsupported skills with --disable-skills.
