Enterprise governance layer. Not a skill/plugin — sits above Claude as a management platform.
2026-05-10: Archestra sits between your team and Claude Code, giving IT governance something to actually govern—MCP registry, policy guardrails, and a gateway that centralizes which AI tools get called and under what conditions. Practical fit is orgs that already have compliance pressure around AI tool usage and can't just hand developers raw Claude Code access. Tradeoff is real: every governance layer adds latency and config burden, and with only 6 production mentions the operational track record is thin. Worth piloting if you need audit trails and access control; if you're smaller or compliance isn't a driver, the overhead won't pay off.
